Join us in coming together to ensure the community center continues to do the transformational work we have done for almost eighty years now. We have just finished our major renovation and security installation project known as ‘A Safe Place to Call Home’. With the help of all our Community Partners and Supporters we were able to install a building-wide security system, an ADA compliant entrance and Lift to our program spaces, brand new offices, a new gymnasium floor, a sprinkler system, four new bathrooms, a new music room, and so much more.
We have also had record numbers for all our programs including 264 summer camp registrants, over one hundred afterschool participants, and 272 baseball and softball sign-ups. Our public benefit programs Every Child is Ours and Operation Warm continue to see increased demand, as we delivered 178 food bags per week, and provided 153 children with warm winter gear this past year. Our Westward Bound Teen Expedition Project just celebrated its 15th year and has taken close to 200 students on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Western United States since we began in 2007. The TTCC is able to do all this and more with your generous support. Thank you!
One of our biggest goals the past few years was to have a safe and welcoming place for people to use and enjoy. We have accomplished this through our Million-dollar renovation and security installation at our current building on 30 North Main Street, as we have begun planning on a New Community Center to be built in the next several years. This second building will house a full-sized gymnasium and additional program space to serve our ever-growing communities. We have received a $1,500,000 federal grant to make that dream a reality and are asking for your help in climbing to the next plateau.
